Legal Concerns Involved in Casino Night

November 11th, 2008

Due to legal concerns, the annual Casino Night party had been shut down On Saturday night. It has been determined by the Officials at the Connecticut Division of Special Revenue that the casino nights which traditionally features roulette tables and gambling with phony chips, would go against Connecticut’s Act Repealing Las Vegas Night Games.

The state law disallows the playing of a casino gambling game such as blackjack, poker, craps, roulette, or a slot machine. According to the department’s Web site, the casino events which are seized after high school graduation and proms are also not allowed under this act.
