Black hawk Casinos receives the good opportunity from Amendment 50, to enhance their wafer from $5 to $100. They voted in favor of the amendment and as a result, they are allowed a 24 hours gambling line for Craps and Roulette.
This is definitely overwhelming news for the Casino operators as they are now hoping for more players. Due to the difficult economic conditions, increased gasoline prices and Smoking Ban in Colorado, the number of the patron reduced in the past few months. Many Casino General Managers also appreciate the decision, as it will cushion great effects on the gaming industry.
However, as per the State law, the changes will reflect after June 2009. Based on the current scenario, the casinos are active at day times only and are brushy at slot machines, poker games and blackjack tables. After the implementation of this amendment, the casino revenues are expected to be tripled the recent one. Many casinos, which were not offering the blackjack due to the wages limit of $5, are now planning to start with that in addition to craps and Roulette.
